DESCRIPTION

The 62879-1 is a universal battery contact manufactured by TE Connectivity/AMP, designed to establish reliable electrical connections between wires and battery holders. Constructed from brass material with a thickness of 0.30 mm [0.012 inches], this contact accommodates wire sizes ranging from 0.2 to 0.6 mm² (#24–20 AWG) with a maximum insulation diameter of 1.78 mm [0.70 inches].
