DESCRIPTION

647051-3 is a 3-position MTA-100 header assembly featuring high-temperature friction lock design with right-angle posts and 0.025" square pin configuration. The housing is constructed from nylon 4/6 high-temperature material in black, with copper alloy posts plated in tin-lead (93/7) for superior solderability and corrosion resistance. Key dimensional specifications include a total length of 7.62 mm (0.300"), post spacing of 2.54 mm (0.100"), and posts that withstand a minimum axial force of 13 Newtons (3 lbs) without dislodging. The connector features pre-tinned plated through holes with 1.02±0.07 mm (0.040±0.003") diameter and is designed for mounting on 1.57±0.20 mm (0.062±0.008") thick PCBs. This connector is ideal for high-reliability applications requiring robust interconnection in elevated temperature environments, such as industrial control systems, automotive electronics, and telecommunications equipment.
