DESCRIPTION

66730-3 is a Type VI posted pin contact designed for reliable electrical connections in connector assemblies. This contact is manufactured from brass per MIL-C-50 and features a gold plating of 0.76µm minimum on the contact end for a length of 3.81mm minimum, with tin-lead plating of 1.27µm minimum on the opposite end, both over 1.27µm minimum nickel plating on the entire contact. The contact has overall dimensions of 15.80mm (0.622 in) by 36.40mm (1.433 in), with a maximum diameter of 2.87mm. Gold plating conforms to MIL-G-45204, tin plating to MIL-T-10727, and nickel plating to QQ-N-290. This contact is suitable for applications requiring durable, corrosion-resistant electrical connections with reliable signal transmission.
