DESCRIPTION

7-2823056-8 is an 8-position female on board connector with top entry SMD mounting and latches, part of TE Connectivity's Micro-MaTch Value-line Connector Family. This miniature connector features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) pitch with tin-plated insulation displacement contacts, providing cost-effective wire-to-board interconnections. The connector is supplied on tape and reel (P&P Tape: Y) for automatic pick and place assembly, reducing manufacturing time. It accepts all standard ribbon cables and delivers highly reliable gas-tight and corrosion-free connections. Common applications include home automation, alarm equipment, CCTV systems, lighting, air and climate control units, and electronic voting machines in industrial, consumer, and datacom industries.
