DESCRIPTION

747717-2 is an AMPLIMITE D-subminiature cable connector featuring crimp snap-in contact technology designed for reliable signal transmission in industrial, medical, and computing applications. The connector is available in multiple shell sizes with contact positions ranging from 9 to 37, supporting recommended cable outer diameters from 0.165 to 0.562 inches and maximum inner cable bundle diameters up to 0.450 inches. The connector shells are constructed from steel with tin plating, while the inserts are made from 94V-O rated thermoplastic in black, and contacts are phosphor bronze with duplex plating featuring gold flash on the mating end and nickel underplating. This connector is intermateable with standard MIL-C-24308 D-subminiature connectors and is RoHS compliant, making it suitable for cost-effective commercial applications requiring robust shielding hardware integration and reliable long-term performance in demanding environments.
