DESCRIPTION

749877-5 is a 50-position IDC D-Sub receptacle assembly designed for panel mount cable-to-panel signal connections. This connector features a 1.27 mm centerline pitch with 2 rows and is compatible with flat ribbon cable and round jacketed cable. The receptacle utilizes insulation displacement (IDC) termination method and supports wire sizes of 30-28 AWG with a compatible insulation diameter range of 0.74-0.91 mm. Constructed with a thermoplastic housing, steel shell with nickel over copper plating, and phosphor bronze contacts with gold or gold flash mating area plating, it offers a maximum contact current rating of 1 A. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with UL94V-0 flammability rating, this connector is ideal for signal applications requiring reliable cable-to-panel interconnections.
