DESCRIPTION

770097-1 is a 12-circuit panel-mount receptacle connector for the 5.0 mm Power Key Connector (5.0 PKC) wire-to-board system manufactured by TE Connectivity/AMP. This connector features a compact design with a 19.4 mm mated height and 5.0 mm contact centerline spacing, designed specifically for power circuits in home appliances, particularly gas appliances. The housing is constructed from natural-colored nylon with UL94V-2 flammability rating, and contacts are made from phosphor bronze with a solder tail diameter of 0.062 inches (1.57 mm). The connector incorporates a double lock plate for complete contact loading, locking levers surrounded by protective walls to prevent wire tangling, and bubble-release design for potted applications. With its robust construction and recognized safety certifications (UL File No. E28476, CSA File No. LR7189), this connector is ideal for reliable power distribution in appliance manufacturing and industrial applications requiring secure, compact connections.
