DESCRIPTION

787653-4 is a 20-position receptacle connector designed for printed circuit board mounting in high-speed data applications. This through-hole connector features a right-angle mount configuration with boardlock retention and a 1.27 mm (0.050 in) centerline pitch. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (30 microinches) in the mating area and tin over nickel plating on solder tails, with a termination post length of 3.05 mm (0.120 in). The housing is constructed from Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating and high temperature rating. This Series I blindmate connector is RoHS/ELV compliant and supports various lead-free solder processes including wave solder up to 265°C and reflow solder up to 260°C, making it suitable for Fibre Channel disk drive, high-speed serial data, and SCA2 (Single Connector Attachment) applications.
