DESCRIPTION

8-215464-4 is a male-on-board connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector family with 1.27 mm contact spacing. This connector is engineered for reliable wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections with tin-plated contact design and fretting corrosion resistance achieved through a positioning spring in the female contact that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion. The connector features gas-tight connections and is available in multiple position sizes (4 to 20 positions), with through-hole mounting options suitable for automated assembly. Applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots, motors, automotive systems (car radios, navigation, dashboard), base stations, set-top boxes, and audio equipment.
