8-35106-2 is a pre-insulated PIDG ring tongue terminal designed for solderless wire termination in control circuits and power wiring applications. The terminal features a tin-plated copper body with a copper metallic sleeve and nylon insulation (UL 94V-2), providing high dielectric strength and corrosion resistance. It accommodates wire sizes from 22 to 16 AWG (solid or stranded) with a maximum voltage rating of 300 V at 105°C, and is designed for use with #5 stud size (.125 inch diameter, .129 inch minimum hole diameter). The serration feature inside the terminal barrel provides exceptional barrel contact and tensile strength, while the uniform insulation thickness under crimping pressure ensures consistent, high-quality terminations.
