DESCRIPTION

9-160479-2 is a FASTON receptacle terminal designed for electrical connections in industrial applications. This terminal accommodates 15-08 AWG wire sizes (0.031 inch or 0.8 mm tab thickness) and features a 0.187 inch (4.80 mm) contact width with a length of 0.862 inch (21.89 mm). The terminal is constructed from high-conductivity copper with tin plating for optimal corrosion protection and includes a copper sleeve for vibration resistance and improved wire insulation support. It operates at a maximum voltage of 300V and temperature of 105°C, with inner serrations for maximum electrical contact and tensile strength. The terminal is UL/CSA listed and MIL-Spec approved, making it suitable for instruments, control systems, lighting, power supplies, transportation, motors, aerospace, and appliance applications.
