DESCRIPTION

AAA2871-00 is a plug protection cap designed for MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors, providing protective coverage for connector plugs. The cap features a gasket with a nominal diameter of 22.00 ± 0.50 mm and is available with standard silicone or optional fluorosilicone gasket material. Multiple attachment options are available including eyelets (3.2 to 6.4 mm), rings, split rings, crimp ferrules, or tie-wrap configurations, with lanyard lengths customizable in inches. The product is manufactured from various materials including aluminium, nickel aluminium bronze, stainless steel, black acetal, or composite, with finish options such as electroless nickel, black anodise, or passivate. This versatile protection cap is commonly used in military and aerospace applications where connector protection and secure attachment are essential.
