DESCRIPTION

The TE1500B3R3J is a high-power wire wound resistor from the TE Series, designed for heavy-duty industrial applications requiring stability and reliability. It features a mullite-coated tubular ceramic core with a corrugated ribbon element that enables rapid cooling and supports a 1500W power rating with 3x overload capability for 5 seconds. The resistor operates over a temperature range of -25°C to +225°C with a temperature coefficient of resistance within ±440 ppm/°C, and offers an insulation resistance exceeding 100 MO at 500V DC. It is commonly used in large electrical and production machinery, motor control systems, dynamic braking applications, and load test simulations where robust thermal performance and flameproof construction are essential.
