DESCRIPTION

The BK/MDL-10-R is a time-delay glass tube fuse rated at 10 amperes and 32Vac, designed for circuit protection in low-voltage applications. It features a ¼ x 1¼ inch (6.4 x 31.7 mm) physical size with nickel-plated brass endcaps and meets UL standard 248-14 for safety and performance. The fuse exhibits a typical DC cold resistance of 0.01 O, a typical melting I²t of 64.4 A²·s, and an AC interrupting rating of 1000 amps at 32Vac. Time-delay characteristics provide protection against temporary overcurrents while responding to sustained faults, with opening times of 60 minutes maximum at 135% of rated current and 120 seconds maximum at 200% of rated current. This fuse is ideal for low-voltage power distribution systems, control circuits, and equipment requiring reliable overcurrent protection with time-delay characteristics.
