DESCRIPTION
The 1383 is a silver-plated, high mating force wire contact designed for use within PP180 series connector housings. It is specifically engineered to terminate 2 AWG (33.6 mm²) wire using a single crimp connection. The contact is constructed from a copper alloy with silver plating, offering superior electrical performance and durability for up to 10,000 mating cycles. As part of the PP180 system, it supports high-current applications up to 350 amps with a voltage rating of 600V AC/DC. These contacts are ideal for battery connections, power distribution, and other applications where a robust, hot-pluggable (UL rated up to 75A) quick disconnect is required.
