DESCRIPTION
The LDO03C-005W05-SJ is a 15-watt non-isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn LDO03C series, designed for cost- and space-sensitive applications requiring wide input voltage accommodation. It features a wide input voltage range of 3–13.8 Vdc and an adjustable output voltage range of 0.59–5.1 Vdc with a maximum output current of 3 A, delivering typical efficiency of 90% at 1.5 MHz switching frequency. The converter includes hiccup-mode short-circuit and overvoltage protection, operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature, and provides excellent transient response with line regulation of ±0.5% and load regulation of ±0.5%. Standard features include remote enable capability and optional power-good indication, making it ideal for semiconductor equipment, industrial, telecommunications, and data center applications where compact size and adjustable output voltage are critical requirements.
