DESCRIPTION

The 9613-CHR-100 is a computer EIA-RS-232 cable designed for serial data communications and low-voltage signal transmission. It features 8 conductors of 24 AWG stranded tinned copper (7x32 stranding) with semi-rigid PVC insulation, providing flexibility and durability. The cable incorporates dual shielding: a Beldfoil® tape shield with 100% coverage and a tinned copper braid shield with 65% coverage, ensuring excellent electromagnetic interference rejection. With a nominal overall diameter of 0.240 inches (6.10 mm), a voltage rating of 300 V (CMG/UL AWM 2464), and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, this cable is suitable for RS-232 applications, computer communications, low-voltage analog signals (4-20 mA, 0-10 V), digital control systems, line-level audio, and panel wiring. The cable meets UL1685 FT4 flammability standards, CPR Euroclass Eca, and various international compliance requirements including RoHS 2 and WEEE directives.
