DESCRIPTION

The PCS-E68LA is a vertical-type die-cast material backshell designed for 68-contact 1.27 mm pitch connectors used in board-to-cable and cable-to-panel applications. This connector features EMI-filtered design to meet FCC and other standards, with a robust interface structure and quick locking via metal latch. The backshell accommodates standard cables with an outside diameter of approximately 8.1 mm and provides dimensions of 60.3 mm (length A) and 50.6 mm (length B), with a cable outlet dimension of 8.5 × 7.5 mm. The connector supports IDC (insulation displacement contact) type or soldering type female connectors for cable, and is compatible with PCS-XE series IDC type male connectors. Common applications include office automation equipment and other downsized electronic equipment requiring high-density, reliable interconnections with low insertion force and drainage structure for flux removal.
