DESCRIPTION

102973-3 is a breakaway double-row header connector designed for board-to-board interconnection applications. This vertical mount connector features 6 positions with a 2.54 mm (0.100 inch) centerline and row-to-row spacing, with a mating post length of 8.08 mm. The header is rated for 3 A current capacity and offers a dielectric withstanding voltage of 750 V with insulation resistance of 5,000 MO. Constructed with phosphor bronze contacts featuring gold plating in the mating area and thermoplastic housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, it operates reliably across a temperature range of -65°C to +105°C. This connector is ideal for PCB applications requiring customizable position counts, as headers may be broken to desired lengths using appropriate tooling.
