DESCRIPTION

The 1-2199230-6 is a top-mount M.2 (Next Generation Form Factor) connector designed for next-generation add-in cards and modules. It features a 4.2mm maximum connector height with a nominal height dimension of 4.1mm, supporting double-sided module cards and offering multiple key configurations (A, B, E, M) to accommodate various interface requirements. The connector operates with a 0.5mm pitch and 67 positions, supporting PCIe x4/SATA interfaces (key M) as well as wireless connectivity and other protocols depending on key selection. With dimensions of 2.94mm (Dim. B) and 2.48mm (Dim. C), it provides a compact form factor that saves more than 20% PCB real estate compared to PCIe Mini Card solutions. This connector is ideal for applications in ultrabooks, notebooks, tablets, gaming devices, servers, and SSDs, where high-density interconnection and support for multiple data rates are essential.
