DESCRIPTION

1-5499913-1 is a low-profile pin header with short latches designed for cable-to-board interconnection in ribbon cable systems. It features a 0.100" x 0.100" [2.54 x 2.54 mm] centerline spacing and is available in multiple position configurations ranging from 10 to 60 positions. The connector is equipped with a metal latch that provides positive retention when mated with surface-mounted right-angle receptacle connectors, and includes polarization features to help prevent mismating. The housing is constructed from glass-filled nylon (UL 94V-0 rated, black), with brass posts plated with duplex gold over palladium-nickel on mating surfaces and tin on solder areas. Operating temperature range is -65°C to +105°C, with an operating voltage of 250 VAC and maximum current of 1 ampere per contact. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable cable-to-board connections with positive locking mechanisms, such as computer peripherals, industrial equipment, and consumer electronics.
