DESCRIPTION

The 1658623-2 is a 14-position Novo receptacle connector designed for fast, economical mass termination of ribbon cable. It features insulation displacement contacts (IDC) on a .100 x .100 inch mating grid and accepts a wire size range of 28-26 AWG. The phosphor bronze, tuning fork style contacts have a duplex plating with 0.000030 inches of gold on the mating end for reliable connection. Housed in a black, UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic, this connector features military polarization and mates with .025 inch square or round pins. This military-approved design provides a cost-effective and reliable wire-to-board interconnect solution.
