DESCRIPTION

173977-3 is a 3-position cable-mounted receptacle assembly from the ELCON Hybrid Mini-Drawer Connector series. The housing is constructed from glass-filled P.B.T. thermoplastic with pre-tinned phosphor bronze contacts, supporting wire sizes of AWG #28-26 (0.08-0.15 mm²) with insulation diameters of 0.85-1.05 mm. Key dimensions include A = 4.0 mm, B = 6.8 mm, and C = 8.0 mm. This connector is part of a true hot-plug, blind-mating system designed for mixed signal and power applications. Typical applications include low noise power supplies, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), power factor-correcting (PFC) power supplies, and redundant (N+1) power systems.
