DESCRIPTION

292172-3 is an SMT standard type vertical mount header without boss for the AMP CT 2.0 mm pitch connector series. This miniature wire-to-board interconnect solution features tin plating and supports single row configurations with 2 to 9 positions. The connector is designed for surface mount technology (SMT) applications and includes kinked legs for self-retention on printed circuit boards. It operates at 125 V AC/DC with current ratings ranging from 1 to 4 amps depending on wire gauge (22–30 AWG), and is RoHS compliant with UL recognition. Common applications include business equipment, industrial machines, IoT/smart devices, PC peripherals, audio equipment, LED lighting, and other signal or power routing scenarios where compact, reliable interconnection is required.
