DESCRIPTION

1877285-7 is a 7-position AMP Economy Power (EP) shrouded post header designed for wire-to-board applications. This vertical header features a 0.156 inch (3.96 mm) centerline system with a fully shrouded design that helps eliminate mismatings and provides better mating alignment. The header is rated for 250 VAC and 7.5 amp maximum current, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1.5 kV AC minimum. The housing is constructed from PBT glass filled material (UL 94V-0) with brass contacts finished with 1.0 µm tin over 0.8 µm nickel. This RoHS compliant connector mates with existing EP and EPII plug housings with receptacle contacts, making it suitable for household appliances, HVAC systems, industrial machinery, and vending machines.
