DESCRIPTION

292173-2 is a 2-position SMT box-type horizontal mount header from the AMP CT connector series, designed for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications. This header features tin plating, solder tabs for secure PCB mounting, and a locating boss for proper orientation during assembly. The connector operates at 2.0 mm pitch and supports wire gauges from 22-30 AWG, with voltage ratings up to 125V AC/DC. The box-type design provides front and back walls for polarization, offering high resistance to scooping during mating and unmating.
