DESCRIPTION

173977-2 is a 2-position receptacle assembly designed for wire application side connections in hybrid mini-drawer connector systems. The housing is constructed from UL94V-0 rated, glass-filled PBT material in natural color, with contacts made from pre-tinned phosphor bronze. This receptacle assembly accommodates AWG #28-26 wire sizes (0.08-0.15 mm²) with insulation diameters of 0.85-1.05 mm. Key dimensions include A = 2.0 mm, B = 4.8 mm, and C = 6.0 mm. The connector is commonly used in power supply applications including switch-mode power supplies, power factor-correcting power supplies, and redundant power systems requiring reliable wire-to-board connections.
