DESCRIPTION

3-435640-9 is an 8-position sealed DIP switch from the TE Connectivity 7100 Series Alcoswitch line, featuring a rocker-style actuator and single pole single throw (SPST) contact arrangement. The switch has a standard profile design with contact lead spacing of 0.100 x 0.300 inches (2.54 x 7.62 mm) and a lead length of 0.140 inches (3.56 mm) below the mounting surface. The overall dimension A for the 8-position configuration is 0.880 inches (22.35 mm), with a low-profile variant also available. This sealed design provides protection against environmental contamination, making it suitable for applications requiring reliable switching in harsh or dusty environments such as industrial control panels, consumer electronics, and instrumentation systems.
