DESCRIPTION

5120603-2 is a 1.0 mm free height (IEEE 1386) receptacle connector designed for parallel board-to-board stacking applications with 84 positions and 1.0 mm pitch. The connector features improved locating posts for fast and accurate hand placement, with enhanced plastic clearance between mating connectors to facilitate alignment and reduce stress on solder joints during engagement. It is rated for 1.0 ampere per contact with a maximum contact resistance of 30 milliohms and has been tested to a minimum of 100 mating cycles for durability. The connector is available with or without pickup caps and supports multiple stack height configurations (ranging from 5.37 mm to 10.37 mm), making it suitable for applications requiring reliable, compact interconnections in consumer electronics, computing, and industrial equipment where space constraints and high-density connections are critical.
