DESCRIPTION

5-2301994-2 is an industrial RJ45 jack with integrated magnetics designed for 10/100 Base-T Ethernet connectivity in harsh industrial environments. The jack features a 1x1 right-angle (R/A) orientation with an upward-facing tab and integrated LED indicators for link/activity status. It incorporates integrated magnetic components that provide improved EMI noise shielding and signal integrity, reducing the need for external magnetics and simplifying circuit design. The connector operates over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and supports a minimum product lifetime of 10 years with improved corrosion resistance through thick gold plating (0.76 µm gold over 1.27 µm nickel). The jack is 260°C reflow-capable, enabling compatibility with modern automated assembly processes. Common applications include industrial computers, PLCs, routers, switches, hubs, and wireless access points requiring reliable Ethernet connectivity.
