DESCRIPTION

5745072-2 is an HD-20 subminiature D-type receptacle connector designed for secure PCB mounting with fixed female screwlocks. This connector features 15 contact positions and is available with contact finish plating code A (phosphor bronze with .000030 [0.00076] gold on mating end, tin on termination end, and .000050 [0.00127] minimum nickel underplate) or code B (gold flash on mating end with tin termination). The connector has a shell size of 2 with overall dimensions of 1.546 inches (39.27 mm) length and 1.312 inches (33.33 mm) width, with a profile depth of .420 inches (10.67 mm). Post lengths are available at .125 inches (3.18 mm) for PCB thickness of .062–.093 inches (1.58–2.36 mm) or .170 inches (4.32 mm) for PCB thickness of .093–.125 inches (2.36–3.18 mm). This connector is commonly used in applications requiring reliable signal transmission and mechanical retention in compact electronic assemblies.
