DESCRIPTION

5747250-2 is a right-angle posted subminiature D-connector plug manufactured by TE Connectivity (AMPLIMITE brand) for HD-20 series applications. This connector features 9 contact positions in Shell Size 1 with a front metal-shell design and tin plating, supporting standard mounting holes for board attachment. The connector is preloaded with size 20 DF posted pin contacts and offers duplex gold/tin contact plating (0.000030 inch gold over tin) with a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm). Key mechanical characteristics include a contact insertion force of 3 lb maximum (13.34 N), contact retention of 10 lb minimum (44.48 N), and a contact mating force of 8 oz maximum (2.22 N) per contact circuit pair. The connector is rated for 1000 VAC dielectric withstanding voltage and 5000 megohms minimum insulation resistance, with a current rating of 7.5 amperes per contact pair for 20 AWG wire.
