DESCRIPTION

The 5747845-5 is a 15-position, shell size 2, HD-20 right-angle posted D-sub receptacle connector designed for PCB mounting. It features a front metal-shell for shielding, integral boardlocks for secure pre-soldering placement, and fixed female screwlocks for robust mating. The socket contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a duplex plating of gold flash on the mating end and tin on the termination tails, all over a nickel underplate. This connector has a .318 inch board mount footprint and is preloaded with size 20 DF posted socket contacts. The housing is made from a black, UL 94V-0 rated flame-retardant thermoplastic, ensuring compliance with safety standards in various electronic applications.
