DESCRIPTION

966144-1 is a double wire ferrule designed for the reliable connection of two 0.50 mm² flexible leads with screw or spring clamps. It features a copper sleeve with galvanic tin plating and a polypropylene plastic collar rated for temperatures up to +120°C. The ferrule has overall dimensions of 15.0 mm (A) x 8.0 mm (B) with a copper sleeve diameter of 1.40 mm (C) and plastic sleeve diameter of 4.7 mm (D), requiring a strip length of 10.0 mm. Manufactured according to DIN 46228 Part 4, this wire ferrule provides a gas-tight crimped connection when terminated with AMP precision tools. It is commonly used in switching cabinets, control units, and equipment with row clamp or poke-in clamp connectors.
