DESCRIPTION

The P992-5-B is a silicon capacitive pressure sensor designed for low-pressure differential measurement in HVAC and combustion control applications. It operates on a 5 VDC ± 5% supply and provides a 0.25 to 4.0 VDC ratiometric output proportional to pressure, with internal temperature compensation ensuring accuracy across the operating range. The sensor features a ±5 inches of H2O pressure range, ±2% accuracy (±3% for 0–1" range at 10–40 °C), and is rated for -10 °C to +60 °C operation with a storage range of -40 °C to +95 °C. It withstands 10 million full-pressure cycles, 1 G vibration (20–1200 Hz), 10 G shock (6 ms), and includes EMI/RFI and ESD protection with short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection. Common applications include variable air volume systems, filter pressure monitoring, duct airflow measurement, and combustion air flow control.
