DESCRIPTION

103638-6 is a crimp snap-in short point contact designed for the AMPMODU MTE interconnect system, supporting wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connectivity applications. The contact is available in three plating options (15 µ" Au, 30 µ" Au, and Matte Tin) and accommodates wire gauges ranging from 20-32 AWG depending on the specific variant, providing flexibility for various conductor sizes. The system operates at 3 amps per single contact in free air with a maximum operating voltage of 267 V, and supports an operating temperature range of -65°C to +105°C for reliable performance across diverse environmental conditions. This contact type is cost-effective for low to medium volume applications and is commonly used in medical instruments, computers, copiers, commercial printers, appliances, and automotive control systems where reliable interconnection is essential.
