DESCRIPTION

206037-3 is a Metrimate pin and socket connector housing designed for metric-spaced signal contacts with true metric dimensions and contacts on 5 mm (0.197 inch) centers. The connector features polarized housings made of UL-rated 94V-0 thermoplastic material, available in 4 through 36-position square grid configurations that can be mounted to and removed from either the front or rear of a panel without requiring additional hardware. The housing supports a wide range of wire sizes from AWG 30 to 18 with insulation diameters ranging from 0.05 mm² to 2.54 mm², accommodating both gold/nickel and bright tin-lead contact finishes. Strain relief kits are available for 6 through 36-position configurations to support cable diameters up to 23.3 mm, and the connector is designed to meet IEC 440V requirements and VDE standards. These connectors are widely used in industrial electronics, instrumentation, and panel-mount applications where reliable metric-spaced interconnections and easy field maintenance are required.
