DESCRIPTION

2118713-2 is a two-piece board level shielding (BLS) cover component manufactured by TE Connectivity designed to provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression and isolation of board-level components. The cover features a material thickness of 0.15 mm with dimensions of 14.06 mm length × 13.10 mm width × 2.00 mm height, constructed from galvanized steel or pre-plated cold rolled steel (CRS) with a minimum inner bending radius of 0.10 mm and co-planarity of 0.08 mm (size dependent). The component includes a pitch of dimples at 3 mm minimum spacing and is packaged in bulk/bag format with 3000 pieces per box. This shielding solution is ideal for applications requiring board-level EMI suppression in mobile phones, tablets, routers, wireless devices, and other compact electronics where minimizing crosstalk and reducing EMI susceptibility are critical without impacting system performance.
