DESCRIPTION

2335893-5 is an AMPLIMITE Size 5 stainless steel D-subminiature receptacle connector featuring 78 positions and a passivated stainless steel shell designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 requirements. The connector utilizes copper alloy contacts with gold over nickel plating, PPS and PBT inserts, and is available with standard 20 AWG or higher-density 22 AWG crimp contacts. It provides up to 500 hours of salt spray resistance without toxic cadmium platings, making it ideal for demanding aerospace, defense, and marine applications. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, with contact current ratings of 7.5A for Size 20 and 5A for Size 22 configurations, ensuring robust performance in harsh environments where corrosion resistance and durability are critical.
