DESCRIPTION

The 2834049-2 is a 2-position LIGHT-N-LOK modular latched receptacle connector designed for indoor lighting applications using poke-in termination technology that requires no tools for field installation. This compact connector features a modular design with black color coding for easy identification and assembly, utilizing a PA housing (UL94 V-0) with copper alloy tin-plated contacts. The connector is rated for 600 VAC maximum with a dielectric strength of 2200 VAC, and supports current ratings of 5 A (16 AWG and 18 AWG per UL2459) or 3 A (22 AWG per UL2459) at 600 V, with higher ratings available under UL1977 (8 A for 16/18 AWG, 3 A for 22 AWG). Operating across -40°C to +105°C with durability rated to 10 cycles, this connector is ideal for space-constrained indoor lighting installations where tool-free assembly and reliable modular connectivity are essential.
