DESCRIPTION

5-1971876-3 is a high-temperature plug housing connector designed for the TE Connectivity POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector system. This connector features a 3x3 position configuration with 9 total positions and a 6.0 mm centerline pitch, supporting wire-to-panel or wire-to-wire connections. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material rated for 150°C operating temperature and meets glow wire test requirements per IEC 60335-1, with tin-plated copper alloy contacts rated for up to 12 amps maximum current at 600 VAC/VDC. The connector incorporates the POWER TRIPLE LOCK system's three-point locking mechanism—cap/plug latch, Connector Position Assurance (CPA) device, and Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) device—ensuring secure mating and contact retention. This product is ideal for high-temperature power and signal applications in appliances and industrial equipment requiring reliable, secure connections with enhanced assembly accuracy.
