DESCRIPTION

5-338309-2 is a subminiature D-type connector plug without boardlocks designed for straight mounting applications with solder termination. This 9-way connector features a steel front shell with tin plating and a black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flammability compliance. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with 0.76 µm gold plating in the contact area, delivering a maximum current rating of 6A with an insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum and dielectric strength of 1000V AC. Operating reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, this connector is ideal for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition applications requiring robust, compact interconnections in space-constrained environments.
