DESCRIPTION
The 747150-2 is an AMPLIMITE Subminiature D Type Connector receptacle designed for HD-20 front metal-shell straight posted applications with standard mounting holes. This receptacle features 9 contact positions (Shell Size 1) with dimensions of 1.216 inches (30.89 mm) by 0.984 inches (24.99 mm), and accommodates a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) recommended for PCB thickness of 0.062–0.083 inches (1.58–2.06 mm). The connector is constructed with a steel shell (tin plated), 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black housing, and phosphor bronze socket contacts with gold plating on the mating end and tin-lead on the termination end, with a minimum 0.00127 inches (0.0076 mm) nickel underplate. This configuration is ideal for applications requiring reliable, compact interconnections in electronic equipment where space constraints and standard mounting requirements are critical.
