DESCRIPTION

87456-9 is a 6-position single-row receptacle assembly from the AMPMODU Mod IV Interconnection System, featuring an outrigger design with 0.100 x 0.100 inch [2.54 x 2.54 mm] centerline spacing and end-to-end stackability. The housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated 94V-0, with dual cantilever contact beams incorporating built-in anti-overstress features for reliable matings. The assembly terminates 32-20 AWG [0.03-0.6 mm²] discrete wire and supports a contact current rating of 3 amperes with termination resistance of 12 milliohms maximum for beryllium copper contacts. Available in multiple plating options including duplex gold and matte tin finishes, the receptacle mates with 0.025 inch square or round posts and is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (File No. E28476) and Canadian Standards Association (File No. LR 7189). This connector is ideal for wire-to-board applications requiring compact, stackable interconnections with high reliability and low contact resistance.
