DESCRIPTION

The MIC29301-5.0WU-TR is a high-current, low-dropout voltage regulator designed to provide a fixed 5.0V output. It can supply up to 3.0A of current with a typical dropout voltage of 370mV at full load. This 5-pin device features a logic-level ON/OFF control and an error flag that signals when the output falls out of regulation. It is fully protected against overcurrent faults, reversed input polarity, overtemperature operation, and transient voltage spikes. Housed in a 5-Pin TO-263 surface-mount package, its low dropout and low ground current make it ideal for battery-powered equipment, high-efficiency linear power supplies, and automotive electronics.
