DESCRIPTION

1-5745967-0 is an HD-20 subminiature D connector plug featuring 25 contact positions with a straight posted design and retention 4-40 inserts for secure PCB mounting. The connector has a shell size of 3 with overall dimensions of 2.090 inches (53.09 mm) length and 1.852 inches (47.04 mm) width, with a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) recommended for PCB board thickness of 0.062–0.093 inches (1.58–2.36 mm). The contacts are finished with duplex plating (gold on mating end, tin on termination end) with nickel underplate, and the housing is constructed from flame-retardant thermoplastic material rated UL 94V-0. This connector is intermediate with any size 20 or 22 subminiature D connectors complying with MIL-C-24308, making it suitable for applications requiring reliable high-density interconnections in industrial, telecommunications, and instrumentation equipment.
