DESCRIPTION

5745922-2 is an HD-20 AMPLIMITE subminiature D receptacle connector designed for PCB mounting applications. This shell size 3 connector features 25 contact positions with straight posted ACTION PIN socket contacts and includes .120 [3.05] mounting holes. The connector has dimensions of 2.088 inches (53.04 mm) for dimension A, 1.852 inches (47.04 mm) for dimension B, and .509 inches (12.93 mm) for dimension C, and is designed for .093 [2.36] min. thick PC boards. The contacts feature phosphor bronze construction with gold plating (.000030 [0.00076] inch) on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with nickel underplating (.000050 [0.00127] inch minimum). This connector is commonly used in data communication, instrumentation, and industrial control applications requiring reliable high-density interconnections.
