DESCRIPTION

The 609-1041LF is a 10-position female socket connector from the 609 Series, supplied with a pre-installed strain relief. It features both military and center polarization to ensure correct mating with compatible headers. The connector is designed for mass termination of 28-30 AWG ribbon cable, utilizing a dual-slot Insulation Displacement Contact (IDC) design. Its contacts are made of beryllium copper with gold plating on the mating end, and the housing is a blue, UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled thermoplastic. This connector is ideal for creating reliable wire-to-board interconnections on a .100" x .100" grid in various electronic systems.
