DESCRIPTION

5499922-2 is a pin header with long latches designed for Ultra ATA bus ribbon cable interconnect applications. This connector features a 0.025" (0.64 mm) centerline pitch and is designed to mate with AMP-LATCH strain relief receptacles. The housing and cover are made from thermoplastic with UL 94 V-0 rating, while contacts are phosphor bronze with gold plating on the mating end and tin in the wire termination area over nickel. This pin header is commonly used in high-speed data transfer applications such as Ultra ATA bus connections, providing reliable signal integrity and secure cable retention.
