DESCRIPTION
The 98-1100-0638-8 is a 15-inch 4:3 format projected capacitive (PCAP) multi-touch sensor designed for small-format commercial display applications up to 27 inches. It features an ultrafine metal mesh conductor technology with a total thickness of 2.0 mm, supporting up to 20 simultaneous touch inputs with palm rejection and >99% accuracy. The sensor delivers light transmission greater than 90%, inherently linear response requiring only video alignment, and operates at a touch refresh rate greater than 100 Hz with <10 ms response time. With NEMA 4X/IP66 sealing, non-active cover glass construction, and chemical resistance per ASTM standards, this sensor withstands rugged industrial environments and surface contaminants. The system operates over -10°C to +70°C and includes a three-year warranty, making it ideal for retail displays, public exhibits, and interactive kiosks requiring durable, reliable multi-touch functionality.
